Eva is a beautiful Presa bitch we got from Mark Banks at Harijan Kennel in Maryland. Her mother and father are Iron Bull bred dogs. Eva is very responsive to training and very social with our family. She has a great prey drive that is balanced well with a very civil nature. As her pictures indicate, Eva is a stocky, muscular bitch but that doesn't interfere with her athletic ability. For her size she is agile and fast on her feet and in full movement.
This dog is fits the old cliche about this style of dog. Loyal to a fault. Although she is social with her family, she is very much devoted to one owner. Like our other Presas, Eva is not exuberant in her affection. She shows her love through a quiet presence on the constant lookout for a threat, content to sit or lie and my feet.
Eva is without a doubt, one of the top female Presa Canarios in Canada. As in other breeds, good males are easier to come by, but females like this are worth their weight in gold.
Eva has little tolerance for strangers of any kind. She will accept a greeting from strangers under obedience from her family. This is not the kind of dog that gives affection freely to those who haven't earned it.
Eva stands 24 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs a fit 95 pounds.
